Spent a few nights here in the last couple of days, experiencing the rain, the wind and even got a bit of sunshine. Still had a fantastic stay. Cracking tent site, fantastic facilities, and great company. Location is close enough to town and right on the coast providing a wonderful outlook. Certainly one of the North Islands hidden little secrets. Probably gonna have to go back for a little longer. Would recommend all accommodation options from tent sites through to the cabins. One of the places to stay to take in the light festival in Pukekura Park.
Just the nearest to heaven anyone will get before they shuffle off the mortal coil! Get there before it's too late! Gorgeous campsite, managed by a lovely young couple (Anna and Peter), supported by a helpful, attractive team. Sorry, but superlatives won't cover it - go see for yourself. Weather was rubbish but the camp site was fantastic, great facilities. Kids loved pedalling around and playing on the tramp when the weather allowed. Great location, well worth taking the bikes. We will definitely. Be back.
Stayed in the Belt Road Seaside Holiday Park for the Womad music festival. What a joy to come back to each night - our spot by the sea. We cycled to the festival each day - an easy ride. Will definitely do this again next year. But please keep it a secret!
Love loved the view. Great staff, all efficient. Stayed in cabin, rubbish bag, tea towel and cloth replaced. Friendly place to be,
