After being self employed as a Farm drainage contractor for 18 years, Kevin was looking for a change in career. As the family enjoyed their weekend breaks in holiday parks and camping grounds around the country, playing on the beach or trying their hand at fishing, we kept thinking this would be a great lifestyle and career for Kevin and Teresa to pursue. We looked for several years before we found and settled on purchasing Belt Road, and the rest, as they say, is history.

As a family with 3 teenagers and 3 younger children, we enjoy watching families enjoy our surrounds and our town. We feel the city of New Plymouth has so much to offer in scenery, natural attractions with the mountain and the sea, and the many events happening, that we keep ourselves busy all year round.

Our children are very much part of what we do and you will see them take on various tasks around the park – even Max who enjoys helping (or following) the staff around, or just sharing a friendly smile with other kids.
